Shipping Info


Our shipping charges are based on discounted carrier rates that are passed right to the customer.

There are a couple of factors that highly influence the cost of shipping – these include: shipment weight, the size (or dimensions) of the package, number of packages, the destination address and the shipping method selected.


  • Shipment Weight – this includes all items that is being shipped as well as any air pillows or Kraft paper inserts that keep the products from shifting inside the box during movement to you. Please note that the shipping weight might be 8 pounds if you only purchased a 6 pound box of chips. We want to keep your items as safe and as unharmed as possible during shipment to you, and the packing material adds weight. Also note, carriers beginning in 2015 now use a dimensional shipping formula, to calculate the wieght of a box to be shipped. Basically, what this means is that even though an item with packing and the box may weigh 8lbs, the carriers will calculate the cubic size of the box and use the higher of the actual weight or the dimensional weight of the box.  For more information on dimensional weight calculations please see DIMENSIONAL WEIGHT EXPLAINED.


  • Size (Dimensions) of the package – to ensure that your purchase arrives in great condition, we do not overstuff boxes.  Like inflating a balloon, you do not want to put too much air into it otherwise it will pop. We also try to keep packages lighter than 50 pounds so that you (and the carrier person), don’t hurt themselves moving the package along.


  • Number of Packages – If you purchase multiple items, you will probably receive more than one package delivered to your location.  This is because, as noted above, we do not like to overstuff the boxes, so we’ll add additional boxes as may be necessary to safely ship the items in your order.


  • Destination Address – your items are generally shipped directly from our warehouse, however some items may be shipped from multiple places around the world. Like an airplane ticket, the further away from home you go, the more expensive the ticket might be.


  • Shipping Method – the shipping method refers to the speed of the delivery. The faster the shipping, the more expensive it may be.


Now we get this question pretty frequently: “Why is my shipping so expensive, I recently bought a $100.00 dress at another website and paid $6.00 to ship it, but my $100.00 candy purchase shows the shipping to be over $20.00. What gives?”   When comparing apples to apples, in this case shipping cost to shipping cost, you want to look at the total weight of the purchase, rather than the value of the purchase. The dress that was purchased, even though might have cost $100.00, weighed less than 2 pounds for a relatively cheap shipping cost. When you purchase candy, a heavy and dense product, the purchase weight might have been over 40 pounds.

To preview the shipping charges, enter the items you want to order into your shopping cart and when you are finished shopping, click to proceed to checkout. Then enter your zip code. This will display all available shipping costs. Snackoree.com offers basic Ground, Smart Post, 3-Business Days (Express Saver), and 2-Business Days shipping options to all of our customers who place orders to be shipped to destinations in the domestic United States. Please note that regardless of the shipping method selected, Snackoree.com requires up to 3 additional business days to process your order before the carrier picks up the items.  If time of delivery is important, please contact us first before selecting an expedited shipping method, to verify your items are available for expedited shipping.

We have partnered with Bongo International to service our international customers on orders placed directly thorough our website.   Once you have created your shopping Cart, choose the “outside the U.S ?” button.  You will automatically be transferred to  Bongo’s Secure International Checkout  (http://www.bongous.com) page where you will be provided with international shipping costs as well as duties and taxes for your shipment.   Upon completion of your order, Bongo will charge your credit card for the entire purchase.  We will ship your items to Bongo’s Global Distribution Facility where Bongo will process the order and transport your items to your international address.  There are no additional fees or registration required for this service.

For customers that just can’t wait for our products - well, we don't blame you!  Please contact customer service before placing your order to discuss option available for rush delivery. Please keep in mind Snackoree.com may require up to 3 additional business days to process your order before the carrier picks up the items.
Since most carriers do not conduct standard business on either Saturdays or Sundays (even for express shipping) the actual delivery date may differ from the Estimated Scheduled Delivery Date as found on the Tracking confirmation email. For example: A packaged shipped via "Next Day" leaving our warehouse on a Friday for San Diego, will not arrive until Monday, even though it has a one day transit time. 

Snackoree.com cannot be held responsible for any packages which are delayed due to unforeseen carrier delays such as "adverse weather conditions", "Beyond carriers’ control", or "Missed at facility" - please plan accordingly. Snackoree.com offers tracking numbers for packages for reference use only; this estimated delivery date is only an estimate and Snackoree.com does not guarantee specific delivery dates.

No one likes melted chocolate - unless you like chocolate fondue! Chocolate, gummies, and other confectionery products don't like to sit in heat for long periods of time. During the hot-weather summer period, Snackoree.com reserves the right to hold all shipments from being processed from our warehouse on Thursday and Fridays to ensure packages do not sit in a non-temperature controlled shipping warehouse. If your package is held for this reason, we will have it shipped from the warehouse on the following business day.

Any packages refused at the point of delivery will be deemed as “abandoned property”. All refused packages will be returned to buyer at buyer’s additional expense or destroyed. No refunds will be issued for any packages which were refused delivery by any other shipping carriers. If you have any questions regarding why a package was refused for delivery, please the applicable carrier which was used to ship your package and have your tracking number handy.

Before completing your order online, we strongly suggest that you check both your billing address and shipping address to ensure accuracy. From time to time, customers may incorrectly fill these fields and submit orders.  Snackoree.com will only ship the products to the address that is supplied on the order. In the case that an incorrect address is supplied, the applicable carrier will try their best to contact the customer to confirm a correct address. If all attempts fail, the carrier will typically send the package back to Snackoree.com.

If an order is unable to be delivered due to an incorrect address as provided by the purchaser, and the package is returned to Snackoree.com, there are two options available to the customer:

1. If you would still like the order reshipped: The customer is responsible to pay a $15.00 Return-to-sender fee as well any secondary shipping charges to have the product reshipped to a corrected address.

2.  If you would like to cancel the order: if the customer no longer wants the product, the amount refunded will be for the total purchase price less initial shipping & processing costs, less a $15.00 Return-to-sender fee, as well as less a 40% restocking fee.


The carrier will make 3 attempts on business days to make a delivery. If an order is unable to be delivered by the carrier due to the customer not being available for acceptance, and if the
package is returned to Snackoree.com, there are two options available to the customer:

If I place my order today, when should I expect my delivery?

The speed of the delivery depends on how the order was shipped and the destination to where it was shipped. Snackoree.com processes most orders within 24-48 business hours of confirmation of order. If you have selected a Smart Post or Ground/Standard/Free Shipping method, your delivery is between 3-7 business days once it has been picked up by the carrier. If you have selected a faster shipping method, your estimated delivery may be sooner. In general please give up to two weeks for delivery and plan accordingly for the delivery. If you need your order to arrive by a specific date, please contact customer service at 1-800-927-9298.

But wait, I need my candy really fast, do you have expedited shipping methods?
Snackoree.com does offer several shipping methods including 3-Day shipping, and a 2-Day shipping. Please keep in mind that Snackoree.com reserves up to 48-hours to process the order before shipping. If you have any concerns with specific deadlines, please contact customer service at 800-927-9298.

How much does shipping cost / what is the cost to ship my order?
Shipping costs are based on a variety of factors including product weight and the destination of the package. Through our partnership with FedEx, we have negotiated competitive rates and we pass our savings to you.

To obtain shipping prices, please add all of the products you are looking to purchase into your Snackoree.com shopping Cart. When you are finished proceed to the checkout page, and there is a box for which you can input your ship-to zip code to obtain shipping costs for all available shipping methods. 

Why is shipping more expensive than the items I am purchasing?
Though Snackoree.com passes all of the savings directly to the customer, shipping sometimes seems expensive.  Shipping costs for any carrier rely heavily on three factors: the weight of the box (the heavier the package, the more expensive the cost), the destination of the package (the further away from the East Coast to ship, the more expensive the cost), and the speed of the service (the faster to deliver the package, the more expensive it may be).

Can you ship to PO BOX or APO addresses?
At the moment, FedEx and UPS requires a physical address to make a delivery. No deliveries will be made to PO BOX or APO addresses.

Why does the shipped package weigh more than the items I purchased?
To ensure that your candy arrives in great condition, we take the utmost care to package the products securely with air pillows, packing peanuts, and/or packing paper. Therefore, any packaging material and insets added into the box may make the package heavier.

Am I able to include delivery instructions for FedEx?
We understand that customers may want the package delivered to a specific location at their residence or during a set time when they are available for convenience. At this moment, we are unable to relay these messages directly to FedEx. If you have a request, please contact FedEx Customer Care (1-800-GO-FEDEX) with your tracking number, and a care agent may be able to assist you with your request.



Does Snackoree.com ship to locations outside the United States?
Yes !   For all of our customers living outside the United States wishing to purchase our great items, you are in luck!   Snackoree.com has partnered up with Bongo International to ship packages to international destinations, whihc are purchased on-line via ou website.
